Why subscribe to AsiaWatch?

A daily newsletter curating key developments and conversations in Asia, with a focus on ASEAN. We catch the insights others miss.

Asia's set to drive 60% of the world's growth by 2030. It’s a dynamic, complex, and diverse region. I would like to help to put a magnifying glass on what's happening in here.

I am based in Singapore, a metropolitan city-state where quality of life ranks as one of the best in the world, but local press freedom is lower than Uzbekistan. I enjoy unfettered access to the World Wide Web, and as a result, AsiaWatch is able to curate from a broad spectrum of opinions and sources from observers in Asia.

The sources selected by AsiaWatch are carefully selected for reliability and objectivity. They will, however, carry unique local perspectives and therefore some degree of bias. My commitment to you is that AsiaWatch will endeavour to select from factual and reliable sources and call out biases where they exist.

Overall, I hope that you will find AsiaWatch as a useful companion to create a better awareness of issues and developments in Asia, as they happen.

AsiaWatch is currently in its Alpha stage and will be free for this duration.
